This policy explains what information alephandaleph.com collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: very little is collected, none of it is sold, and anything you share with me is treated the way an accountant treats client information — as confidential by default.

Who operates this site

Aleph and Aleph, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. For anything in this policy, you can reach me at contact@alephandaleph.com.

What this site collects

Technical logs. Like nearly every website, the infrastructure this site runs on (including our hosting provider and Cloudflare) records basic technical data when you visit — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. This exists for security and reliability, and is retained only as long as those purposes require.

Aggregate analytics. The site may use Google tools (such as Search Console and Analytics) to understand traffic in aggregate — which pages are visited and how people arrive. This is used to make the site better, not to profile you.

Email you send. If you write to me, I receive what you send — your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message. That’s it. There are no accounts, no forms, and no newsletter lists on this site.

What this site doesn’t do

No selling of personal data. No advertising trackers. No sharing your information with third parties for their marketing. The only parties that process data on my behalf are the service providers that keep the site and email running (hosting, Cloudflare, Google, email infrastructure), and they do so under their own contractual obligations.

Client information

If we work together, the financial records and business information you share with me are governed by our engagement letter and by professional standards of confidentiality — a stricter standard than this policy. Your books are used for one purpose: your books.

Where data is processed

Data may be processed in the United States and the European Union, reflecting where the site’s infrastructure and operations run.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Exercising any of these is one email: contact@alephandaleph.com. I don’t make you fill out a form to be forgotten.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. No retroactive surprises.
